I was born in Düzce in 1990. Except for my university years, I completed all of my education in my hometown. After graduating from Sakarya University, I returned to Düzce and worked as a classroom teacher in various private schools.
With every student, every class, and every new lesson, I kept asking myself the same questions: “How can learning be more exciting, meaningful, and lasting?” In pursuing this question, I realized that learning is not just about transferring knowledge—it happens through sparking curiosity, trying, and exploring.
Today, I work as a classroom teacher at Nadas Children’s Village. Our paths crossed with Nadas because we share the same belief: education is a journey, not a race, and knowledge is a discovery, not just a result. Here, curiosity is at the center of learning—just as it is for me.
In my lessons, I enjoy combining traditional games, creative methods, and technology. Being able to accompany children both through the naturalness of play and the opportunities offered by technology strengthens the learning experience. Throughout my own journey, I was always curious; now I value my students being curious, experimenting, making mistakes, and most importantly, discovering.
For me, teaching is not just about giving children information—it’s about inspiring their curiosity and helping them fall in love with learning.
