Hello, I am Teacher Melisa.

I was born in Düzce in 2001. I completed my university education in the Department of Preschool Education at Bahçeşehir University. During my studies, I interned at Bahçeşehir Kindergartens, Hayalimiz Kindergarten and Bakan Paylaşım Kindergarten in Düzce, as well as The Children’s Center Beşiktaş Branch in Istanbul. In addition, I worked as a classroom teacher at The Children’s Center during the summer term. After my internship experiences, I worked for one year as a classroom teacher at Bakan Paylaşım Kindergarten.

Throughout my university years, I took various trainings to improve myself in different fields. I completed programs in Creative Drama Teaching from the Contemporary Drama Association and Philosophy with Children simultaneously. I also received Forest School Teaching training from the Forest School Association, and voice-over and dubbing training from the Federal Film Academy. Additionally, I completed online training to become a children’s yoga instructor.

As of 2025, I will be working at Nadas Children’s Village Kindergarten and Primary School, teaching contemporary creative drama and philosophy courses with children. In my lessons, I value children’s learning through play and their ability to understand emotions and situations through drama. At the same time, I aim to support their thinking skills through philosophy circles where they can question, discover, and explore with curiosity. In my educational philosophy, the world of children comes alive through play. Play both keeps their sense of curiosity alive and transforms the learning process into a natural and joyful experience.

This new stop on my journey—Nadas Children’s Village—deeply excites me. I eagerly look forward to the day I meet the children, and I wholeheartedly believe that every moment we share will enrich both their world and mine.
