Hello, I am Betty Teacher!

I was born in Düzce in 2002. Throughout my education, my fascination with the magic of language and culture guided me toward the path of becoming an English teacher. During my high school years, I participated in Erasmus+ projects, which gave me the opportunity to encounter different cultures, be part of an international learning environment, and experience how language serves as a bridge in real life. These experiences broadened my vision and showed me that language learning is not confined to the classroom but is a universal journey.

I graduated as the top student of my department from Manisa Celal Bayar University, Department of English Language and Literature. I completed my undergraduate studies with a thesis on children’s literature, because I believe that one of the most powerful ways to understand children’s world and support their language development is through literature.

After university, I worked at a private institution where I had the chance to work closely with students one-on-one. Witnessing the world of children up close, accompanying their curious questions, and stepping into the colorful worlds they create with their imagination showed me the most valuable aspects of teaching. My belief that every student has a unique way of learning, and that the teacher’s role is to be a guide on this journey, grew even stronger.

For me, English is not learned by rote memorization but acquired naturally—through play, fun, experience, and blending into everyday life. I aim for children to see the language not merely as a subject, but as a natural part of life. I believe that in a classroom enriched with play, songs, stories, and discovery, learning becomes both lasting and enjoyable.

Today, I am truly happy to be working at Nadas with this educational philosophy. Nadas’s nature- and exploration-based approach aligns perfectly with my teaching philosophy. Here, being able to add joy, curiosity, and creativity to children’s learning journeys, and witnessing the sparkle in their eyes as they discover something new every day, inspires me deeply.

I value every child’s self-discovery, their ability to express themselves in unique ways, and their growth in confidence throughout the learning process—and I am proud to accompany them on this journey.
